Security / assurance and participation
The rental prices include 24-hour roadside assistance, third party liability insurance, and comprehensive insurance (C.D.W.).
For the rental, you need a credit card (Visa, Mastercard) in the driver’s name to authorize the deductible amount as a security deposit. The deposit amount will be returned to the driver upon returning the vehicle, provided that the vehicle has not been damaged and the driver has no other financial obligations related to mobilis Rent a Car company.

Comprehensive insurance C.D.W.
- The comprehensive insurance involving the deductible amount C.D.W. relates to the vehicle’s exterior parts (doors, fenders, covers, bumpers).
- Tires, rims, mirrors, windshield, surrounding windows, and other items inside the car (interior, musical instruments, etc.). C) The underside of the vehicle’s components and machinery are subject to comprehensive insurance.
- In case of an accident without involvement with another vehicle
If a Mobilis vehicle has an accident without involving another vehicle, for example, if it causes an accident without affecting other vehicles off-road, overturns, or hits a stationary obstacle (such as a tree or wall), the insured driver as the lessee with C.D.W. is responsible not only for external damage to the vehicle up to the deductible amount specified in the rental agreement and agreed upon, but also for damages to the underside of the vehicle, tires, windows, interior, and mechanical faults.
- In case of an accident, if it is determined by the traffic authorities that the renter of the vehicle is under the influence of alcohol (above 0.50 grams per liter of blood) or without a valid driver’s license, the renter is not covered by insurance and is fully responsible for all damages caused to the rented Mobilis vehicle and any other parties involved in the accident.
- In the event that the driver-lessee drives off-road, they are not covered by any insurance and are fully responsible for all damages to the Mobilis vehicle (both external and internal), as well as any damages caused to any other parties involved in the accident.
FUEL POLICY / FUEL SERVICE CHARGE
The car is delivered and must be returned with the same amount of fuel as received. If the fuel level upon return is less than what was received, then there will be a charge for the “Fuel Service Charge” of 10€ plus VAT 24%, in addition to the cost of the missing fuel.
KEY LOSS:
The renter is responsible for the vehicle key, and its loss is not covered by the comprehensive insurance we provide.
FINES AND VIOLATIONS:
All fines and administrative penalties resulting from the driver’s liability are fully borne by the lessee.
CAR CLEANING:
In case the car requires special cleaning procedures (e.g., odor removal, pet hair removal, heavily soiled interior/car seats from sand/dirt or seawater salts, liquid spills, etc.) upon return, there will be a cleaning fee of 70€ + VAT 24% for biological cleaning.
You should be aware that all vehicles have a non-smoking policy. Fines will be imposed if this policy is not adhered to.
Reservation Modification / Information
Traveling abroad by car and/or by ferry without the company’s written permission is prohibited.
